Memories of Westwood Heath in the 1950s and 60s

A few weeks ago some members were enquiring about local residents in the 1950s. In particular David Morris asked if anyone knew about Susan Whick who lived near the Church. David posted an image showing the children in Westwood Heath School in 1959. By an extraordinary coincidence, a few days later, Susan Whick saw Stuart Barratt's original version of that photo and essay and, on her own initiative, wrote a similar essay with her own recollections of the time.
